Pear and Chocolate Pudding: A Dessert No One Can Resist

There are times when you have an inclination to eat something sweet and delicious. However, you don’t have the time or energy to prepare a special dessert. No WORRIES!

Today, I’ve got an exciting and quick recipe for you that’s not only tasty but healthy as well. Pear and Chocolate Pudding…this recipe is the best solution for times like this. It’s easy to prepare. Only a little time is consumed in preparing this wonderful chocolate-y dessert.

Puddings are my favorite thing to prepare. If you love puddings, then this recipe is for you. It’s the best of all the pudding I’ve ever tried. It’s so delicious that you’ll simply fall in love with this.

I prepared this recipe for dinner. The perfect combo of pear and chocolate was a huge hit! I enjoyed making this recipe and eating it too.

Pear

Pears are a good source of dietary fiber. It’s rich in Vitamins K and C, like potassium and copper.

It improves digestion & heart health, reduce the blood pressure, aid in weight loss, and regulate body fluid level.

It protects against osteoporosis, improves circulation, increases metabolism, and aid in eye, skin, and hair care.

Butter

It includes Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Along with this, it constitutes of minerals, such as iodine, copper, chromium, manganese, zinc, and selenium.

It increases the functioning of the brain, regulates hormones, and protects you from vision and cancer problems.

Vanilla Extract

It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, aphrodisiac, anti-carcinogenic, and antidepressant properties. This depicts therapeutic advantages in reversing many medical conditions.

It’s rich in vitamin B – B1, B2, B3, and B6, and minerals, like magnesium, zinc, potassium, iron, calcium.

Ingredients

  • 3 tinned pear halves (drained)
  • 75 g of soft butter
  • 75 g flour
  • 75 g of gold caster sugar
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 medium-sized egg
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Tip: For young children prefer pear cut in small chunks.

Directions:

  1. Preheat the microwave oven at 2000
  2. Evenly apply the oil in foil baking container. Put the pear halves at the base of the cooking dish. Divide it again in case you find easier to fit.
  3. Prepare the batter. Pour baking powder, sift flour, and cocoa into a big bowl. Make a well with this dry mixture.
  4. Together mix the butter and sugar in the other bowl till the time it becomes smooth. Add this to the dry mixture.
  5. Add vanilla extract and egg and blend it well till it gets combined into a dark batter.
  6. Spread the batter over the pears. Bake it for at least 20 to 25 minutes till the time it becomes crusty and puffed up. The pudding should slightly be sticky from inside.
  7. Cool it. Service this recipe with chocolate cream or sauce.

Chocolate Sauce (Optional)

  1. Crush 150g of dark chocolate into small pieces. Melt it in a bowl over stewing water.
  2. Add a knob of butter and a tablespoon of honey. Blend it well till the time it gets combined.
  3. Slowly whisk it in 100ml of warm, but not the boiling milk.
  4. Heat it for a while when prepared.
