Gypsum is a city in Saline County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,046. It is part of the Salina Micropolitan Statistical Area. Gypsum is located in central Kansas, on Interstate 70 and U.S. Route 40, approximately 10 miles (16 km) east of Salina.
