Bodegraven is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of 36.14 km2 (13.94 sq mi) of which 1.39 km2 (0.54 sq mi) is water. It had a population of 16,735 in 2019.
Bodegraven is part of the Greater Green Hart Rijnland area. The town is situated on the Oude Rijn, about 12 km (7.5 mi) east of Leiden.
