We just joined the world of pretty pictures and got a new camera.
Wow, what a difference.
Petey is pretty cute – of course the first pictures were of him.
There was also a test of the close up settings.
And of course food picture – these were in our CSA box. They weren’t that great.
Dancing Girl got a little artistic with her first few shots. I kind of liked this one. Petey is looking at her like she’s a little crazy.
More food – these were my banana muffin pancakes from the weekend. Recipe up soon.
And then Dude’s favorite breakfast – mini croissants from Trader Joe’s. I love that my house smells like a bakery every morning.
Thank you Jen at Peas and Crayons for hosting What I ate Wednesday. My husband is annoyed that I’m using the new camera for food pictures, but he’s gonna have to deal with it.
oooh we are near a TJs now too…and my daughter would love those minis!!

They’re awesome. There’s a chocolate flavor too, but I haven’t even told him that. They proof overnight and then make your house smell amazing!!
Yay for a new camera!! I desperately need one- use my iphone most days. I’m happy to see that pancakes made the cut.

Of course pancakes were top of the list. And I was happy that my banana bread conversion worked out.
I was totally thinking about croissants last night! They are so good! I will be sure to have one post competition!

I got a new camera for Christmas!! So much fun!! My hubs picked it out, so I honestly can’t remember what it is…I know it is a Nikon. And…I took food pictures too!! Enjoy your new toy!!

I have to say that I’ve never eaten the mini croissants. There are other treats if like better.
Jack (our dog) definitely has the most pics taken in this house. But he’s so cute..he’s a great subject!
We have a pretty decent camera, although it’s like 6 years old now so I’m sure it’s totally outdated!

I didn’t say. Sorry. It’s a Canon Rebel EOS T3. It’s the least fancy of the Rebel line. But I love the pictures so far.
I cannot decide what’s prettier!! The roses or the strawberries!
