Tuesday Tidbits
1) Dancing Girl and I wasted spent some time last night giggling at many things on Pinterest. I’ll share a few of our favorites throughout this post today. (edited to add: I was going to share more, but then Pinterest pooped out)
2) Big doctor appointment today. My ankle feels pretty good. There are moments when I feel a little pinch. I’m really wondering if there is a pinched nerve? Or is it still the inflamed tendon that I think it is. The GP from last week prescribed Naproxen for me, but I was only able to take it for a few days. It destroyed my stomach. Major cramps and stomach pain. I had to start taking Zantac to fix the problem and decided I should probably stop taking the Naproxen. I went back to the Aleve and still am taking the Zantac as my stomach still hurts.

3) I went to my favorite Sunday morning Yoga class this weekend. I made me giggle in the first few minutes listening to the creaks and cracks of everyone’s joints warming up. It was like a little musical orchestra warm up.
4) We had that same Yoga substitute from a few weeks ago. I still didn’t enjoy the class as much as I do with the regular teacher, I stuck it out. And, it was a good enough workout to make it so that I was pretty sore the next day. I modified a few poses to not put too much stress on my ankle (it didn’t hurt, I was just being careful). Each Yoga session reminds me that my hips are tight and weak. I wonder if that’s related to the ankle pain?
5) A few days ago I received some exciting news. I was accepted as a FitFluential Ambassador. See that little pink logo on my sidebar? “FitFluential is a growing family of fitness fanatics spreading a positive healthy message year-round. FitFluential is Fitness Found.” from the Fitfluential Website. The amazing people over at Fitfluential think that I am one of those people that I fit the bill of being “the best person to motivate everyone around you to eat well and get their fit on”.

congrats on fitfluential!!! so excited for you
and that first pic. man. i think that in real life and love when i can get away with wearing the same outfit more than once in a week. haha…its like it saves me a whole 20 minutes of having to plan ahead
i totally forgot about BL tonight!!! just got so pumped!
Thank you! Enjoy the show!!
I love the first one about wearing the same outfit! Haha. Been there. Done that. Congrats on getting in to FF! Hurray! You are totally inspirational! You deserve it!
Aww thank you. Really. That was so nice. It’s fun to join all of you already in the ‘club’.
Congratulations on being selected for FF! It’s a wonderful group of people!
I’m rooting for Kim tonight too. Personally I just feel like Jeremy and Conda forged partnerships to help carry them through to this point. I was a little shocked to see Jeremy win the 3rd spot in the finale but that’s just me!
Thank you! I wasn’t that surprised about Jeremy. He’s pretty intense. But, I don’t want either one of them to win.
Congrats on #fitfluential ! I totally live that first pinterest item, even if I do see my family members! So, I watched the BL finale. When can we start dishing about it? My main reaction is that all of the weigh-ins were pretty anti-climactic after the weigh-ins last week.
Thank you! I think BL was so boring, all our dishing on Twitter yesterday covered it all. Snoozefest. After a season full of drama, the finale was lame. I would have loved some recap montage type stuff. I know it was only an hour, but c’mon people – they manipulated the contestants for a whole season and then just bring them out all businesslike for a final weigh in. Boring.
It was good to see Sam and Stephanie. It did look like Sam had some lingering injuries, but he looked great. I’m happy for them. I wonder if Ramon and that blond girl (what was her name?) are still together? Sam and Stephanie seemed so much more comfortable together than they ever did.
So, I guess there’s always something to talk about with BL. J
