Too much time?

I’ve been rather overwhelmingly busy the last few months.
Now I’m not.
Well, there’s still life – work, kids, fitting in some exercise and some time with friends…
But, I found myself with an hour and a half of time at home without kids in the middle of the day on Monday. Who would’ve thought that was too much time?
I didn’t know what to do with myself. I started out trying to figure out why my Photo Stream isn’t syncing properly to my computer. I think I actually wasted away the entire time just puttering around with different computer problems.
I don’t think I really got anything productive done.
Photo Stream still isn’t syncing properly.
I think I’m more productive when I’m busier.
Anyone have a party I can plan? Okay, really, I didn’t mean that.
I’m sure I’ll find something to fill the time. Meanwhile – I think I’ll blog more. And get started on book 6 of the Outlander Series – I’m glad I’m reading it on my Kindle – it’s over 1,000 pages. Ooof.
So… I started this post the other night… then, I had a bigger computer problem… I dropped my computer down our stairs. It’s dead. (so I guess it doesn’t matter that Photo Stream still wasn’t working).
Moral of the story: don’t jinx yourself and say you need more things to do. Or maybe the moral is: hold on tightly to your computer when walking down stairs.
So, now I get to spend my free time getting all my computer set ups on to a Dancing Girl’s computer which I am going to adopt. Well, share. And, I was just doing a few things and completely messed some things up. Oh, and now I have to hope that I can hook up my laptop to an external monitor and see what I can salvage. So, there are no pictures here.
Silver lining – my computer was slowly dying. I only had one working USB port and it would hang up and I’d have to reboot it often if I needed to plug other things in. The battery needed replacing, too. Not that I’m getting a new computer, but maybe I my subconscious didn’t see this as an accident?
I think party planning is way more fun.
Be careful what you wish for
