Too Many Pancakes

Yes – I just said that. Too many pancakes. I just finished making 6 batches of pancakes. I think that’s almost 90 pancakes.
Dancing Girl is on a pancake kick for breakfast. And she eats a pretty big breakfast. I made a double batch of pancakes a week ago and they’re gone. At least they’re healty-ish. It’s my typical whole wheat buttermilk recipe and I add a serving of whey protein and wheat germ to each batch.
That was a lot of buttermilk – the smaller one was leftover from last week.
Patting myself on the back because it’s a week night. I got up at 5, worked out, went to work, came home, cooked dinner, did a few kid driving outings, came home and spent an hour and a half making pancakes.
And the worst part is that I always have pancake supplies on hand and now I’m about cleaned out of the essentials. Need baking powder, sugar, oil, both types of flour and eggs. Sigh.
I still want to eat them. I guess you can never have too many pancakes
All packed up and ready for the freezer. Although we go through them so fast, maybe that’s not even necessary.
