Tommie Copper Review – and Compression Gear Giveaway
|April 17, 2014||Posted by Carrie under FitFluential, giveaway, product review|
The following post is sponsored by Fitfluential LLC on behalf of Tommie Copper. I was provided products for a Tommie Copper review by Tommie Copper at no cost. All opinions are my own.
I’ve long shared my love of Tommie Copper products. I’ve trusted my weak ankles to their compression sleeves for every single run.
I also found the picture below from a long time ago when I wore one on my right ankle because of my Ganglean Cyst. I also have a knee sleeve and some fantastic ankle length compression socks. My feet need all the help they can get.
As a result, when the opportunity to review some Tommie Copper gear came my way, I was really excited.
The camisole top is apparently supposed to be a bottom layer, but I thought is was really comfortable and I wore it for a run by itself. I loved the length and the fit. It stayed nicely through my whole run. (FYI – where we run has a Farmers’ Market on the weekend – this wasn’t at a race). I have a medium and it’s nice and long (I’m short) and fits pretty true to the measurements on their site.
I had a little size issue with the capris as I had selected a large based on the size chart, but they were too big. The mediums arrived in perfect time to help with my recovery from the Ragnar Relay. My quads were shredded after the race and putting on these comfy compression pants the next day was amazing. I really did feel instant support and comfort. Especially as I stretched out at my son’s soccer game. While they fit well for recovery purposes, I still feel like they’re kind of roomy in the waist, so I’d probably not wear them to run, just after – which is I think the intent of the product.
Here is what Tommie Copper says about these items:
