Streaming Fitness Videos From GaiamTV

Today I want to share with you a really great home workout option. I’ve been talking a lot lately about how much I’m enjoying working out at home and I am so excited to have the opportunity to try out streaming fitness videos from GaiamTV.
Here’s how it works: for a monthly subscription fee, you can have unlimited access to a HUGE library of health and wellness videos. I’m most excited about the library of yoga videos. Ever since my favorite yoga teacher stopped teaching my usual class, I’ve been missing out on yoga. GaiamTV.com has over 450 yoga videos with titles from Rodney Yee and other really amazing instructors.
My family uses Netflix to stream tv and movies and this is like having Netflix for health and wellness videos. Not only are there yoga and pilates, but there are cardio workouts and total body wellness videos. The library is huge. Did I mention the huge number of Jillian Michaels videos?
But, my favorite thing about GaiamTV.com is that I can stream the videos on my phone! I can set my phone up in my workout area and pick the video that I want and I’m all set.
How awesome is that title? Yoga for Runners! How many of you need that one?
Last night, I went for a run while my son had basketball practice. When I finished, I streamed Yoga for Runners to my phone and got in some good post run breathing and stretching. So awesome!
So, you may not always choose to do yoga while sitting on the grass in the cold, but you can do these workouts any time.
Do you ever get sick of the workout videos that you have at home? With GaiamTV, you could just pick a new one.
GaiamTV is $9.95 per month and the subscription fee allows subscribers to stream unlimited content. The subscription to Gaiam TV is no commitment as members can cancel at anytime.
Does this sound good? Well, Gaiam TV is offering a free 10-day trial right now. Follow this link to get the offer.
Do you do workouts at home? Does the idea of a monthly subscription video service sound like something you would use?
Disclaimer: GaiamTV compensated me for this post. All opinions are my own.

I love their meditation videos. It’s really helping me with my commitment to myself to meditate and work on mindfulness.
They have such a huge variety – I haven’t even tried the meditation videos.
I’ve been REALLY wanting to try Gaiam TV!!! It sounds awesome- your post has convinced me!
Yay Andrea! I hope you enjoy the videos.

Thanks for checking it out Jody. I can’t decide how to fit it in to my budget either, but I’m working on it.
Wow, that sounds so cool! I’d love to have a variety of videos to avoid getting bored.

I think the price is right for someone who likes videos. Especially if you aren’t a gym person, then I think it’s a great idea for variety.
This is so tempting! I’ve been loving at home workouts lately too (thanks, BBBC!) and am definitely tired of my old dvds. I was actually expecting you to say the monthly fee was much higher.. might have to check this out. Thanks, Carrie!

Yes, less than $10 a month seems like a great deal. I think it’s about what we pay for Netflix.
I almost bought that DVD. One of my new goals is to get yoga in twice a week. It does such wonders for me but I’m so bad about doing it.

Ooh, so maybe if you didn’t buy the video, you should sign up for the free trial of GaiamTV and check it out that way.
Carrie this is an awesome idea! Having an on the go yoga routine is…umm…well…awesome
I’m going to try the 10-day trial. I’m traveling this weekend so all I need is my iPhone. Genius!
