Happy Friday Everyone!!
I was given the opportunity recently to review the Banjees Wrist Wallet from Sprigs.com. The item I selected was the wallet made from recycled materials. According to the Sprigs website:
“Made with 92% recycled post-consumer content, these Banjees wrist wallets are made from polyester that started out as PET water bottles. The bottles are broken down and spun into yarn that is as strong and as versatile as virgin polyester. We added in just enough spandex to achieve the classic Banjees comfortable fit. The perfect solution to lightening your load, as well as your carbon footprint.”
I first wore the wallet the other morning when I took my dogs for a walk. I tend to get a little ‘geared up’ and carry a lot of things. At the same time, I feel like I’m always holding something in my hand. So, I was so excited to try another option for carrying my gear.
So, that’s the wallet with just an ID in it. Yes, I carry a poop bag, and a pepper spray when I walk my dogs (we were attacked by another dog once and I’m a little jumpy).
Isn’t the butterfly design cute?
Here’s the close-up from the Sprigs website.

Then I took the wallet with me on a run.
This time I put my keys in the wallet. I couldn’t decide if it was more comfortable to spin the wallet so that the contents were on the top of my arm or the bottom. Personal preference on that one.
The wallet is very lightweight. It feels like I’m wearing arm warmers that have been pushed down to my wrists. It was hardly noticeable when I was running. It didn’t bug me at all to have the Banjees and my Garmin on the same wrist.
The Banjees is perfect for small items: ID, keys, a few bucks. It’s not big enough or sturdy enough for a phone (I tried – even took mine out of the case).
However, Sprigs.com does have a full line of Banjees. Including the “Big Banjees” which is designed for larger items including a phone. So, if you’re interested in that, go check it out. You can also like Sprigs on Facebook.
I would definitely recommend the Banjees Wrist Wallet to people who need to carry a few small items while working out. Very convenient and nicely made.
Thank you so much to Sprigs.com for sending me the Banjees Wrist Wallet to test drive.
And, because the Sprigs.com people are so awesome, they have generously offered to provide one to my awesome readers in a giveaway. There are 3 ways to enter: 1) visit Sprigs.com and check out their products and then return here, leave a comment on your favorite. 2) Follow @Sprigsville on Twitter and 3) Tweet about the giveaway. Pretty easy – just follow the Rafflecopter thingy below to do each one.
By the way – the product’s official name is the Banjees Wrist Wallet. I learned that even when referring to a singular wallet, it is still a Banjees. The name is copyrighted. I thought that was kind of cool.
The giveaway will end on Thursday, June 7th at midnight Eastern time.

Disclaimer: I was provided the Banjees Wrist Wallet at no cost by Sprigs.com and they also provided the Banjees Wrist Wallet for the giveaway at no charge to me. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I like this basic pink and black one!
Ooops forgot to link! http://sprigs.com/banjees/big-banjees/pinkblack-stripe/
So fun! I like the reversible ones and all the fabrics are so cool!
I have spent all morning complaining about a loose somewhat aggressive dog in our neighborhood, and I honestly didn’t think of the pepper-spray thing until I just saw this post. Awesome idea!!! I’m going to have to start doing that as well.
I love the organic one!
I love that they have organic cotton- I’d go for the black bliss!
I totally need one of these! My arm band broke and my pocket isn’t big enough for my phone! Boo. Did I say I’d totally love one of these?!
I want the Big Banjee!
Sounds like a great giveway. I’d enjoy!
They are all so cute but I especially love the idea of the recycled ones… so I would pick the butterfly. Beautiful.
Although comfortable for normal everyday use I would not recommend for running. For running i use http://www.givenbrand.com/arm-pockets.html which are compression, lightwieght and stay snug.
