I have gotten so out of the habit of meal planning! I do plan a few recipes for the week that I want to blog about, but I don’t really plan what’s easier for what night. Thanks for the reminder to get writin’.

As much as I hate to sit down and plan, it really does make the week go easier.
We missed you last week!
Hectic weeks definitely make it tough… like you said, it’s helpful to at least write something down, even if you choose to veer off from it. We’re making peanut noodles this week, too!
Good luck!!
Oh boy, a pre-teen girls sleepover. I see that in my future.

Pre-teen girls are hilarious. I might need to add lots of wine to that night’s menu.
I stole the peanut noodle idea from you
I was blog reading before I started planning and it sounded great.
Crockpot meals have been a lifesaver for our family too–we have several busy nights during the week and without the crockpot we’d be eating dinner at 9pm! I do my meal plan on Saturday night or Sunday morning then grocery shop on Sunday (along with everyone else!) or Monday mornings. It is working out so well!

I’m thankful that I can grocery shop on Monday morning. It seems like the store is deserted. Love my crockpot.
I love crockpot meals; it’s so easy to set it and forget it (hehe). I have a busy week too and am totally cheating on my meal planning by not really shopping or cooking much this week. But I can eat bowls of veggies for dinner instead of making real meals (aka with meat and well rounded and all that jazz).

Veggies for dinner with some beans and that seems like a pretty well rounded meal.
Those peanut noodles look so good! Have a great week!

I hate that 5:00 what’s for dinner game too! Especially now that I’ve been meal planning for a few weeks.
hope you get to make chili soon!

I’m a huge peanut noodle fan too! Yum. So envious of your CSA – we’re definitely thinking of doing that in the spring. Good luck with your sleepover!!! Hope she has a wonderful birthday

Thanks! The peanut sauce turned out fantastic. It’s going on the ‘repeat’ list.
I plan and shop on Saturday. Every time I read about you fabulous CSA I regret not joining this year. Ugh!
Happy birthday to Dancing Girl
Alyssa is 13 and we’ve had many many non-sleep sleepovers!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Why is it that they don’t sleep? I don’t remember that so much when I was a kid.
