Happy Birthday Dancing Girl

Happy Birthday to my most amazing daughter – 12 years old. I love watching you grow up and figure out the person that you are. I love when you make crazy hair styles just to be different and proudly state that everyone is weird in their own way. I love that your huge personality far eclipses your petite body. I love how much you love to dance, how you are forever dancing down every path in front of you. I wish that you can dance through the rest of your years, working hard, learning, growing and enjoying every moment.
I was hoping to do a birthday by the years type picture post today, but since my computer ate all my pictures, I picked a few favorites from the real photo albums to scan and share with you (and I was able to hunt through my blog and Facebook for a few others – yay for social media).

Aww, happy birthday to her! Seeing her as a 2 and 3 year old, and watching her change in those pictures gave me a glimpse of how quickly my daughter will be at her age, too! Enjoy the special day.

Yes they do… my favorite was the 4th birthday one, I love her carefree smile and the bliss of licking frosting off the princess cake topper. And I specifically remember that the cake was kind of designed around those cake toppers. So cute.

Oh gosh this makes me teary. Time just flies. My oldest will be 12 next June. Oh the sweet memories. Happy Birthday Dancing Girl!
