Birthdays are a big deal in my family. And, today is my birthday!! Happy Birthday to me!!
When my son celebrated his birthday last January, I shared with you all some pictures of him as he grew… so today, I’ve decided to pull out some pictures of me as a little kid. A little shameless self-indulgence on my blog today.
I love the picture above because of the duck bank in the background. I still have the duck on my desk. It’s been broken and repaired a million times and my brother swears that it’s his.
When you grow up traveling to dog shows, you play in dog crates.
My love of dogs started early.
As did my love of horses. And obviously my fantastic fashion sense started early as well. Love the 70′s!
Thank you to my mom for saving cute pictures and keeping a baby book for me. Thank you to all of you for reading today and tolerating ancient pictures that have been scanned.
What I learned going through these pictures is that my children look nothing like me.
Birthday celebrations will last most of the weekend. Isn’t that how all birthdays should be celebrated?
