Grandma Lill’s 95th Birthday Virtual Race

This past week, while starting slowly back to running, I put my mileage towards a fun event. Hiker Mom celebrating her Grandma Lill 95th birthday. What a fun thing to celebrate.

I completed 10K in her honor (yes, it says half-marathon, but there was a 10K option and that’s more my speed these days) over 3 different sessions, and because of lots of walking I guess my time doesn’t really matter. But, the third day was super hot and I took the obligatory picture just to prove that I ran in a tank top in February.

      Thanks! Me too. I was going to try a full mile today, but I’m actually going to the gym today for the first time in forever and think I’ll cross train and stay at ½ mile. Will try a full mile tomorrow.

    Cutting out Red 40 (and other artificial stuff) sounds like a good idea. I would think that it wouldn’t be too difficult. Awesome!!
