Foods I Can’t Live Without

Day 5 Blogger Challenge topic is Foods I Can’t Live Without. The first few are obvious.
1. Coffee
2. Pancakes: obviously (bet you thought this would be #1)
3. Oats: I know I obsess about pancakes, but I do love my overnight oats for breakfast just about every day.
4. Chocolate: mainly dark chocolate, although not too dark.

5. Salad: is this cheating to say salad is a food? I love a crispy lettuce, a mixture with a spicy variety mixed in. Add in some bell peppers, tomatoes, and some goat cheese with a light vinaigrette and I’m so happy. Obviously you can put in whatever else – remember this yummy salad? Watercress, strawberries and goat cheese. Must make again.
Do any of these make your list of foods you can’t live without?
I love that we have all put coffee!!! Your overnight oats look awesome!!!

That is funny. And Janice was saying that it wasn’t a food. I’d give coffee its own food group
Wow…how did chocolate NOT make my list?? Probably because we have no chocolate in the house right now, but still!

Eeek! No chocolate in your house? J/K… I try to keep a lot of treats out of my house too. Prevents the mindless eating as well as making it more of a treat.
It seems coffee made a lot of blogger’s lists!
I wanted to put down coffee on mine, too! It is a daily staple.. and having a Keurig both at home and at work makes it all too easy to get sucked into at least a cup a day! I’m a recent coffee addict, so I think if I really had to, I could cut it out.. but for now, I’m keepin’ it!
I love my Keurig. It’s perfect as I like to have several cups of coffee during the day and I like them super super hot, but spread out through the day.
Great list!!! None of them made my list but I am now thinking I cannot live without coffee either!!!!

I would definitely put coffee on my list, and wine, too, because, you know…
Now if I put chocolate there I’m not leaving much room for real food. Oh well, add salad and pizza (vegan), and I should meet my nutritional needs!

I don’t know if I could narrow it down. I think coffee is DEFINITELY #1. I LOVE my oats too. I think I would put chicken on there. Curried, BBQed, Baked, I just love it….as I do many things:-)
I do enjoy chicken too. My husband gets very tired of it, so we don’t eat it that much. Now I want some curried chicken.
Coffee and salad are definitely on my list. And yes, salad IS a food. For sure! I think you know that BURRITOS are on my list!
