Have you ever wanted to do this?
Just put your head down on the computer keyboard and go to sleep? Or just snuggle up with a favorite person and sleep?
So, that was the plan for my dog, but not for me. There are 8 more days left in the year and I’ve pledged 70 miles for December GTD. As of yesterday, I’ve got 35.39 miles to go. Today’s training schedule is a rest day. But I used that rest day last Monday doing nothing. However, my body is feeling the affects of my increased running miles, so I’m going to go for a walk today instead. I’ve got to do close to 4.5 miles a day for 8 days. I’m not sure if that’s going to happen, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
Not only that, but I’ve got to refocus on some better food choices. Yesterday was awful. There is just too much junk in my house at the moment. Then, my kids spent some time yesterday with my In-laws, so Mr. Math Teacher and I went out to lunch. Then, Dude had a sleepover, so we took Dancing Girl out to dinner. Two meals out plus the snacks I don’t think I was really hungry for was way too much food. Refocus begins now. My body is feeling sluggish and is telling me that I didn’t take care of it yesterday.
We have very little planned today and then a friend’s Christmas dinner tomorrow night, so there’s plenty of time to exercise, eat right and drink lots of water.
