Blogging v. Books

Thanks for all the comments on my body image post. I’m really learning that when I’m not making consistently good food choices, I start to take it out on myself mentally. My clothes haven’t been fitting the way they usually do and I was getting down on myself. That’s not the productive response, right? I need to do what’s in my control and just make good choices.
Always learning, right?
Yesterday I went for a 5 mile run. It was a nice morning, I listened to the Fat to Fit Radio podcast. So absorbing, the time flys by. I got a bunch of thoughts that I want to explore here. It started to lightly rain when I was finishing my run, but it wasn’t too bad. I really am quite pleased with how I’ve recovered from the relay race. Aside from my black toe, I’m good to go – yay!
Sorry this is really uninteresting today. I was bitten by the reading bug this weekend and a couple of books occupied my normal blogging time. I’m not to picky about books – I sometimes lean towards the young adult fiction because it’s just easy and a break from textbooks and serious stuff. My current obsession is the Hunger Games trilogy. Good and bad when I have a Kindle, I finished one book and bought #2 right away.
Have a great Monday.

Reading is a nice escape, isn’t it? I have to watch what books I get because I get addicted too fast!
Your run sounds great. I hope you have some good eating and activity plans scheduled for this week!! Keep it up!

I know my reading has taken a hit since I got into blogging. When I do pick up a book, it’s so refreshing!

Hi there! I love your blog title – I too write on similar topics (not much food as I am still learning healthy living) lol I will have to check out the podcast you suggested. I enjoyed listening to the podcast Two Fit Chicks on my 5 mile run this week.. full of inspiration there too.
Have a fantastic week
