I’ve really enjoyed Janice’s Blogger Challenge this month. While I don’t feel like each and every post was my best piece of work, it has been a challenge and I’ve enjoyed the consistency of blogging every day this month. Six more days to go.
Today I’m going to do a little catch up – I know I haven’t been following the topics daily, and I’ve missed a few topics that I liked. Besides, no one reads blogs on the weekend anyway, right? So, I can just ramble?
First – the best thing of the week…
This past week, I was helping out a friend and watching her kids all week. So, I had 4 kids all day, every day. They’re great kids and really did do a lot of entertaining each other, but I was definitely the cruise director. To finish up the week of activities, we went to the local indoor trampoline play place. I finally got a chance to get in on the jumping fun.
And, fun it was!
The most hilarious part was the foam pit. I didn’t do any fantastic tricks to get into the foam pit, but let me tell you… it took feats of strength to get out of that thing. Picture proof.
Yesterday morning, I did a home workout that included a lot of squats. Between that and the trampoline jumping, my legs are pooped. It was super fun.
And today’s topic is to share the meaning behind our blog names. Okay, so it’s not too complicated to figure out, but Family Fitness Food is pretty self explanatory. Basically the things that are important in my life. I’m so original that way.
that foam bit looks amazing- never to old for one of those. glad you were able to have some fun for yourself and not just let the kids get all of it! lisa J recently posted..To marathon or not to marathon
So funny! That reminds me of those ball pits in kids play areas. Those used to gross me out when my kids would play in them. Especially those in fast-food places, who knew what kind of nasty food was in it.
It’s nice to see adults being free enough to act like kids…how much cooler would this world be if everyone jumped in the foam pit! Brad Gouthro recently posted..Freestyle Friday: Did You Earn A Treat This Weekend?
Trampoline was my favorite activity at summer camp. Didn’t know there were places adults can bounce too! Coco recently posted..Product Review: Glenny’s Fruit & Nut Bars
The place in our area is called Sky Zone. I know there are others of the franchise. There are few adults that are actually jumping, but it was super fun.

Thanks! They shouldn’t get to have all the fun.
Oh my gosh, the foam pit! Are there dead bodies at the bottom of people who never made it out? LOL Glad you could get in and have fun w/ the kids!

Excellent point. I think we adults all need to act silly and goofy much more frequently than we do.
