Best Body Bootcamp

I’ve been trying lately to do more strength training. But, I’m in a rut. I think I’m doing the same things over and over again. I keep meaning to do something like BodyRock or more cross-fit type stuff, but it’s just not happening. I mentioned the other day that I’m ready to cut back on running lots of miles (for me), but I really like the structure of a training plan… so… enter Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp!
Tina Reale from Best Body Fitness – an amazing blogger and fellow Fitfluential Ambassador – hosts a virtual 8 week bootcamp. For a super reasonable price, she will put together a training plan of 2-4 workouts per week plus suggested cardio. She offers the support and has created a community of people who are all working towards similar goals – to get in shape. And, at the end, there are prizes!! Read the FAQ’s here.
After my workout yesterday where I did some squats and lunges and am now super sore, I’m reminded that I clearly wasn’t doing so well on the strength workouts. I’m so excited for this challenge. Bootcamp begins October 22 and lasts through December 16th. Registration closes on October 15th – that’s this coming Monday. So, there’s still time. You don’t have to be a blogger – just someone who wants a personal trainer for 8 weeks. Who doesn’t? I think my gym buddy may join in… who else?
In final news – remember last year when a bunch of health and fitness mommy bloggers bugged their readers each and every day for votes… well, Circle of Moms is doing it again – the 2012 Top 25 Health and Fitness Mom Bloggers. Voting is open… the great thing about this voting is that you can vote for more than one blog each day. There are so many good ones – check out some great blogs – MCM Mama; Taking it On; Fitness Cheerleader; Fit Mom in Training; Run EMZ and many more. Vote for as many as you’d like – every day through November 1st. Vote for me too (scroll down a bit, you’ll find me) – and I’ll try not to be too annoying reminding you.
I’m linking up with Jill’s Fitness Friday Blog Hop. Hope you enjoy finding other fitness minded blog reading today. And, while you’re here – did you notice a little blog facelift going on… I hope my page is loading faster – I’ll fill you in on all the changes when I’m done.
And, don’t forget to check out my Daily Dose of Green giveaway – don’t miss out!

I did Tina’s boot camp last session and loved having that accountability. I’m so glad you signed up! I’m heading over to vote…

Thanks! Add your blog to the list, too! I’m excited for the accountability and knowing that I’ll have a good variety of workouts instead of the same boring stuff I come up with.
Bootcamp sounds fun! Congrats on being on the blogger list. I will head over and vote:)

Thanks for voting – I see you’re on the list now, I’ll keep my votes going for you too.
Oh, how fun that you are doing Best Body Boot Camp! I am ready to switch things up after the Army Ten Miler, but I need to stick with most of my PT routine.

Your PT is clearly working for you… no reason to change. I’m looking forward to the change from all the running miles. I get to run for fun and tone up. WIN!
Oh squats, ouchie! Those hurt so much the day after, but of course that means they really worked your muscles! Good for you for making an effort to do more strength stuff.

I almost joined Tina’s bootcamp but decided to wait until 2013. Her program looks awesome!

It looks like people are doing the bootcamp multiple times – maybe I’ll stick around for another session.
